Lucille Purser, RN, BSN, is an oncology nurse with clinical experience in the adult hematology/oncology program. She joined the Lineberger staff in the spring of 2007 and coordinates the melanoma and neuro-oncology trials. She shares coordinator duties for phase I trials with Kim Keller, RN. |

Emily Schwarz, MD, PhD, received her MD and PhD degrees from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed an internal medicine internship and a dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina. She joined the dermatology department in July 2007 as a clinical assistant professor of dermatology and has interests in skin cancer, skin surgery, and pigmented lesions. |

Nancy Thomas, MD, PhD, is an associate professor in the department of dermatology. She is the director of the pigmented lesion clinic and is also the dermatology director of the melanoma program.
