The Adult Family Housing Program at UNC Health Care assists our out of town
patients and families with finding suitable accommodations.
Two main places to stay are:
- SECU Family House - Due to a burst pipe in the main sprinkler system on Monday, July 14, Family House is closed for repair and restoration for at least 3-6 weeks.
- Holiday Inn Chapel Hill - discounted rate available for UNC patients and their families. See below.
Reservations for the Holiday Inn Chapel Hill must be made through the Housing
Program. To make a reservation:
- Call the Housing Program at 919-966-1241.
- Your physician or nurse or social worker must fill out a referral and assessment
form.
- All payments will be made to the hospital cashier.
Cancellations for the Holiday Inn Chapel Hill must also made through the Housing
Program. To cancel a reservation:
- Call the Housing Program at 919-966-1241.

possibility that these places may offer a discount to UNC patients and their
families. Before making a reservation at any of these places, please check with
